About the album

It’s weird.

For reals: For Prog fans, there’s a lots of odd rhythms, including polymeter here and there. And the Mellotron also makes an occasional appearance.

However, the listeners I’ve received feedback from so far are divided: ‘Oh, it’s very jazzy. I love it’ vs. ‘Your return to Prog, hm?’ vs. ‘Dark ambient in the sense of very(!) old Tangerine Dream. […] I wouldn’t have directly associated such a dark sound with you’ vs. ‘In places, it reminds me of Jaga Jazzist‘. But in any case, ‘Wonderfully varied’ and ‘I can EASILY say this is my new favorite album of yours‘.

Personally, I see it more as a return to more electronic sounds, but with rough edges – and a small British brass band.
