“The Song of the Machine”is a concept album about a song that travels through time and turns up in different musical eras.
Apart from this obvious theme, all the pieces on the album are connected to one or more of the other pieces by shared melodic, harmonic or rhythmic motifs. Close repeated listenings will reveal these connections, I hope.
